Yeszir and YOTN. Right next to the talksox.com logo at the top of the screen, there is what I assume is an ad which is written in Arabic. Do you have any idea what it says....and are you bastards recruiting for ISIS!!!! Just kidding...I think
Do you guys remember when Papelbon had an ERA that was so low it didn't move after a scoreless inning? I wonder if this would happen to ERod soon. The kid didn't seem to have it today in terms of location and he still got 6 scoreless. He's gonna be a pest
E-Rod is an even keel player who throws his pitch and can locate. It helps that he's got a plus fastball and change as well as a pretty good breaking ball
Tanaka has returned with his stuff! He has been pumping 93-95 since he returned in Seattle. Straight cheddar. If it wasn't for a boneheaded running play by Tex, we'd be capable of handing him a win
Did you really expect his ERA to stay under 1? He's a rook with fantastic stuff, but he's still a rook. He's gonna have some rough days. Tonight might be one, who knows.
I like some of the talent in Day 2, a bunch of fliers for the most part except for Adams and Finley. Adams is gonna fly through the system. He is small framed, but has a huge fastball and breaking ball combo
Red Sox select Austin Rei with their third rounder, C from UW. Good D catcher who hit well after an injury. Highest ranked college catcher in the draft per MLB.com
Benintendi is a polished college bat with some power and speed. He hit for power in college, but he isn't going to be a big basher in the bigs. He's got projection as a hitter for average, solid speed, double digit HRs, and will stay in CF.
Don't mind the Degano selection. Lefty a year removed from TJS who touches 95 and has a plus breaking ball. I want guys who, if they hit their potential, would be top notch big leaguers. Holder, if he hits his ceiling, will be Brendan Ryan
Kaprielian reminds me of the drafting of Ian Kennedy. He'll be a big league starter and he will be there quickly. His ceiling just isn't especially high.
I had seen Bregman mocked to the sox for weeks. Now he's off the board. You're gonna see a run on pitching soon. The sox are gonna go pitching unless Benintendi is still there
