  1. What you are saying is you need to watch more games
  2. Would have to be in Yankee Stadium. Price has a 10+ERA in YS as a sox, and Gray has an 8+ in NY as a Yankee
  3. They should pitch Gray vs Price and see who wins the battle of atrition
  4. Mr. Tingles played fortnight last night
  5. 4 year deal. Lets see who he pulls to LA
  6. Thornburg can be optioned
  7. Not injure him. Back him off the plate. He’s far too comfortable against us
  8. Napoli and Dunn both have the same career WAR
  9. He might need one in the ribs to decrease his comfort in there. A Sevy 100mph shot should do it
  10. Of course a team would take him for free. But nobody is going to deal anything of real value for him as the headliner. Same with Chavis. Neither are tradeable right now, or at least they shouldn't be dealt. Their stock is at an all time low
  11. I expect this to be a good one. Mr. Tingles should have no problem in the 95 degree heat. Sevy should be lighting up the radar. Gonna be fun
  12. That's just stupid. I know you're digging at me. Groome has done absolutely nothing in the minors. He has burned 3 years of control and will soon have to be added to the 40 man. I know he will be added, but he is likely to debut in low A at the halfway point next year. He isn't going to see upper level starts until 2020 or 2021 at the earliest. Honeywell dominated AAA and AA last season and came in as the most likely rookie pitcher to have an impact in the AL beyond Ohtani. Huge difference between he and Groome.
  13. Gotta work early and this ones over. Enjoy fellas
  14. No chance against Sale tonight. Have Sevy going tomorrow for the rubber match. I like out chances
  15. Gray cannot seem to locate again.
  16. I want nothing to do with Hamels. His ERA is deceiving. His FIP is over 5.
  17. Gray started to nibble as soon as Martinez reached. He's just too smart for his own good. Sometimes it is best to do what your catcher says and not nibble.
  18. Groome has no value. ERod for DeGrom makes no sense when they have similar years of control and the Mets are blowing it all up. The Sox may have some talent in the low minors as all teams do, but it’s not good enough to turn into trade capital
  19. Nothing teaches better when the top end stuff starts to falter. CC learned because he had to. ERod doesn't have to yet
  20. Looks like the PED rumor was just that, a rumor. But it does look like Oniel Rodriguez will sign with us. He’s currently 15 and tops out at 97. Hopefully he can stay healthy
  21. Colon throws the same pitch with extreme command. His sinker lost 8 mph over the past three years, which is why he’s been bashed the last few years, but his ability to stick in the majors is a testament to extreme command of a moving pitch (and PEDs). CC doesn’t stack pitches at all. He only throws a 4 seamer 18% of the time. He throws the cutter and slider (really a soft curve now) over 30% of the time each and the change 13% of the time. He’s a true crafty lefty. When his pitches are moving where he wants them to, you cannot barrel him up
  22. Phillips has a darn good year last year. They signed him as Nunez insurance. Should Nunez continue to suck, Phillips will supplant him.
  23. Bird showed some upside tonight, now didn't he?
