    Now a big question for analytic minded Roberts. The Sox are 29th in baseball against left handed breaking balls. You have one of the nastiest left handed breaking ballers in your rotation. How the f*** do you have him scheduled for only one start in the World Series?

    Take until two strikes and then try to hit. ERod has been just off the zone all game. He’s enticing LA to swing. I haven’t seen many called strikes until he gets to strike 2

    ERod has followed the Sox lefty mantra to this point. Who gives a s*** about pitch count, avoid the middle of the plate. Hill is doing the same. This is shaping up to be a great game. I know the Boston media has portrayed this series as a slaughter, but every game has been close. Funny thing is, the dodgers have been tied or had a lead heading into the bottom of the fifth in every game. The Sox pulled away at home, the dodgers won the marathon yesterday/this morning. This series has been closer than it looks and right now, Hill is boggling them with backwards pitching.

    The game ended at 1a local time. The game starts at 5:30p local time. They’ll be back in their homes/hotel by 3a local time. They’ll sleep til noon and then be fine. These are all mostly 30ish or younger guys. They can handle it

    Erod threw last night and isn’t stretched out. He won’t start after throwing in relief, unless the Sox start him and plan for a pen by committee day.

    Kinsler made an error. It happens. The ball was scorched. He probably should have eaten it, but if he did and the next batter hit one in the gap, then you lose then anyway. This was one of the best World Series games of all time. It was also game 3. The interesting thing here is that Hill and Kershaw didn’t pitch, so the dodgers have options for tonight. The Sox used ERod and Eovaldi is cooked until game 6 at least. Price even threw tonight, although today would have been his throw day anyway. My guess is the Sox use Sale in game 4 on short rest. This likely pushes Price up to game 5 and then the two righties in 6 and 7 back home if it makes it that far.

    Roberts has managed incredibly poorly. While I get platooning Pederson with his awful splits, I don’t get platooning your two most powerful hitters. Muncy and Bellinger can at least work a count. The scrubs starting in their place are effectively fodder and useless
