  1. 6IP 4H 0ER 12K 1BB Joba and Kennedy are playing anything you can do I can do better.
  2. http://espndeportes.espn.go.com/news/story?id=574174&s=bei&type=story Apparently this Arodys Vizcaino kid we signed throws 94 miles an hour as a 16 yr old. I could only assume he has no command, but that kind of velocity doesnt grow on trees.
  3. hugely biased. He can have his opinions. I dont think Ellsbury has the power potential of Damon. Hence, I dont think he will surpass the "in his prime" Johnny Damon.
  4. Thing is, he wasnt compared to him in skill sets. BA said his body type was that of Melky. But I have seen pictures of the guy and the guys at PP actually watched his workouts. He's tall and relatively thin/ripped. Melkman is short and stocky. I think the BA people are a bit confused.
  5. Teheran is considered the best pitcher and may be on his way to ATL. DeLeon is the biggest power projection guy in the draft. Two yrs in a row, the yankees have nabbed the big power hitter.
  6. DeLeon sounds like a masher. I like it.
  7. I dont have any, but I figured scaffolds does. Go get em.
  8. check out the neyer story on shooter in the middle of the page. The guy sounds like the man. Too young. Too bad.
  9. http://yankees.scout.com/2/655923.html The Yankees signed the prize of the 2007 international signing period once again in Kelvin DeLeon. DeLeon is an outfielder with plus plus power very similar to Montero's one yr ago. The Yankees also signed Eduardo Sosa who has been compared to Johnny Damon but with a much better arm. Other signings include 3B- Elio De la Rosa OF- Henry Pena RHP- Arodis Vizcaino OF- Edwin Beard RHP- Maicar Sousa C- Jorge Liccien C- Josue Rodriguez Other signings are expected soon as some of the best arms are still unsigned.
  10. Can someone sticky this. 7/1 Cano in the 3 spot. Proctor in AGAIN with a 6 run deficit and had him throw more than 1 inning.
  11. it hasnt been a miracle. The Yankees have been Torre'd.
  12. so wait. We bring up a brand new reliever. We trail by 6 in the final inning and we f***ing use Proctor? WTF is wrong with this guy. USE EDWAR YOU f***ING MORON.
  13. ORS, while I agree with your analysis, there is more of a watcher's assessment involved. Pettitte doesnt have the best stuff, obviously, but for the first dozen or so starts, his pitches have been down unless they are out of the zone up by design. Today, the ball was just up the entire time.
  14. You have one ace ceiling prospect and 2 mid rotation ceiling guys at this point.
  15. http://www.nypost.com/seven/07012007/sports/yankees/digging_deep_for_bullpen_help_yankees_george_king.htm Welcome to the bigs Edwar.
