  1. I stand corrected. I knew it was lubricant but habit had me type cortisone
  2. He is gonna get a cortisone shot tomorrow and will be out at least for the next day or so. He might go on the DL per the Globe.
  3. I think you can expect a 5/90-100 or a 6/110-120. Counting on a home town discount is a good way to get your heart broken
  4. Wang had a good game IMO. That last runner shouldnt even be on. Regardless, I like what I saw
  5. you are the only one who figured it out. It should be controllable with dilantin. Acutely, benzos, but dilantin loading and chronic usage should prevent them
  6. It did this inning. The question is, go to Hughes or stay with CMW for the 6th?
  7. that sinker isnt sinking
  8. its not like the sox have a long head start. He's a free agent in 4 months and 3 days (Nov 1)
  9. Mariano and Jeter have always been class acts and we will be very unfortunate when they are not on the team anymore. I dont think anyone can truly sit back and say they dislike Mo as a person.
  10. Like I said before, some teams look at him as a cleanup hitter. StL has him protecting Pujols today
  11. Bay is gonna get a LOT more than 4/60 on the open market. A LOT more
  12. He's still on thin ice as far as I am concerned. But I dont think a demotion is in order. I think a move to the pen may be in order. He's been serviceable for 2 starts now. We need him to step up to being above average.
  13. 4 in a row. Burnett was dominant and the offense came through late. Nice. Go for the sweep today
  14. Yeah, BIG difference in power. Ells and Gardner have the same amount of homers and Gardner's SLG is higher by 70+ points. I am telling you right now, that the power they offer will be minimal regardless. The whole message that I am trying to get across to you is that for these guys, OBP will be supreme. When they are on base, things happen. Pitchers need to worry about them, catchers need to worry about them and they can take the base anyway. And btw, Melky is having a better offensive yr than Ellsbury too.
  15. Where did I say he was better. Read the post before you make a stupid conclusion. I was trying to point out that it is too early to make any judgements, but to say anyone is better right now is stupid. I was responding to the post made previously that categorically declared Ellsbury the far and away better ballplayer.
  16. June 27th, not even at the halfway point. Talk to me at the end of the yr
  17. How bout this. Since May 1 here is his line... .354/.439/.548 with 12 steals in 13 attempts. This kid needs more playing time
  18. but the key to that trade was Tabata, who hit well last yr but has been hurt this yr. If he makes it as a COF next to McCutchen, then the yankees will rue the day they made that deal.
  19. CC was on point. Gardner and ARod put the dagger in with the help of the mets defense. Cannot complain one bit. 3 in a row and the offense has awakened
  20. we're really getting the better end of the stick out of the Nady deal, now arent we? Marte is out till the ASB and Nady is out for the yr. Solid moves I tell ya
  21. Well, Gardner seemed to make a case today. 5-5 with a triple and a homer. His line now... .305/.375/.443. Ellsbury? .305/.352/.399 Just sayin
  22. And you're a hick from Virginia who sleeps with family members and enjoys incestual relationships. See, I dont limit it to Dipre here. (j/k VA)
