  1. Fixed it.
  2. White Sox pre- and postgame show host Chris Rongey was whining, both on Facebook during the game and on the postgame show, about the fans booing Juan Pierre for making some boneheaded plays. He said booing hurts the players' psyche. He and I got into a sprited exchange on Facebook about it. He even alluded to one player (wouldn't name names, just said 'he's loved by the fans') saying he wouldn't mind a trade because of the booing. 1. Pro athletes know they live under a microscope, even more so nowadays with the advent of smartphones and social media like Facebook and Twitter. If their egos were as fragile as he believes they are, they would've quit long ago. No professional athlete got to this level being handled with kid gloves all the time. 2. This guy's a wuss. Thanks to the internet, I've listened to several other teams' postgame shows, including Red Sox and Yankees. Comparatively speaking, we're pretty freakin' nice. If this guy tried hosting a postgame show for you guys, he'd last five minutes before he ran home crying to his mommy.
  3. I'm superstitious about stuff like that.
  4. ...and you jinxed it.
  5. Brent Lillibridge homers. 1-0 White Sox. EDIT: That was the 10,000th homer in White Sox history.
  6. Got the White Sox-A's game on the radio. 0-0 in the bottom of the 5th.
  7. Unfortunately, Dunn is going to be out at least a week. Had to have an emergency appendectomy last night.
  8. Well, we found out why the rest of the league can't wait to get rid of Will Ohman. More like "OhShit!"
  9. Scott Podsednik of all people hitting a walkoff homer in Game 2 of the 2005 World Series. Buerhle's no-hitter and perfect game.
  10. Tony Graffanino channeling the ghost of Bill Buckner during Game 2 of the 2005 ALDS
  11. Hope I have a better day today than I did yesterday. I think Bruce Pearl can kiss his job goodbye.
  12. f***ing St. John's:rant:
  13. f*** you, Louisville and up yours Penn State. f*** the Commodores too. That includes you, Lionel Richie.

  15. I remember him being possessed by the ghost of Bill Buckner in the 2005 ALDS :harhar:
  16. Big Hurt was decent at catching the ball. What always scared me as a White Sox fan was when he had to make a throw to start a 3-6-3 double play. There were a few possiblities where the ball was going to end up: the shortstop's glove, left field, the dugout or the third row. Bobby Bonilla was indeed brutal at 3B. Honorable mentions for left field: Carlos Lee and Alfonso Soriano. You can kind of hide a bad fielder by putting them in left, but Lee and Soriano are brutal. I had to suffer through five years of Lee in LF for the White Sox. I know Soriano has a good arm, but the statue of Harry Caray out in front of Wrigley Field is more mobile than him.
  17. Torres was a salary issue, right? Shame they had to let him go. You guys think Dalglish will be named the permanent manager?
  18. As a White Sox fan, thank you for signing Sweaty Freddy. Now Kenny Williams won't be tempted to go out and sign him again.
  19. Re-welcome!
  20. Welcome!
  21. Stacey King soundboard Did he do his Bill Cartwright impression?
  22. Stacey King had a bit of "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair in him. Wooooooooo!
  23. And the Yankees pitchers will be the league's best at long toss.
  24. He could take on Bill Parcells in a battle of the front-butts.
  25. Prior will once again lead the league in simulated innings pitched.
