    This doesnt accomplish anything for the Reds. Royce Clayton? He cannot be the starting shortstop for a playoff contender. Brendan Harris? He is not very good either. The only way this could be good for the Reds is that it opens up more playing time for Ryan Freel, but personally, I'd rather have Kearns & Lopez rather than Freel & Clayton. In this deal Krivsky should've asked for at least one good hitter, such as Ryan Church, who is still rotting away in AAA I believe. :thumbdown

    As some of you have speculated, maybe we would get Abreu and flip him for some pitching, but I'm not sure how we would get Abreu in the first place without giving up Trot. But even if we did do that and if Wily Mo was ready, we could trade Trot and put Wily Mo in as the starting RF.

    im not really sure what to think of this. Sure, Abreu is the better player then Trot, but would it really be worth it? We don't need a stud RF. Instead of working on something that is not a need, Theo should be focusing on upgrading the pitching staff.
