  1. Stop....just keep deluding yourself. Yankee skumbags were annointing Matsuzaka the best pitcher in the WORLD when they thought they were getting him! Beckett had 1 bad year... I think you are still a bit salty from the @ssreaming Josh gave your entire city in the World Series. I cannot wait for the hammer to come down on you fuggin clowns...this will be a season of TEARS for Yankee fans.....no not tears of joy.
  2. And why are these things so difficult for you to believe? Matsuzaka IS the real deal and will be one of the 5 best pithers in baseball this year.. I GUARANTEE you this. All of Beckett's peripherals indicate last season was an anomaly...he has every bit the stuff Verlander or Bonderman has... Matsuzaka is better than both of them. Schilling will be good..you know this. Wakefield will be Wakefield. This is the best staff in baseball. Papelbon has also proved he can start(2.65 ERA in 4 starts).(Small sample?..sure...but he has the stuff to be a dominant starter).
  3. The Yankees staff is decrepid and tired. The Red Sox have three possible aces in their mid-20's..so let's stop with the potential crap. The Red Sox 3 young guns all have the potential to be aces for the next 5-8 years....the Yankees vets are running on fumes. Their potential is MUCH lower than Paps/Beckett/Matsuzaka.... Even if they(Mussina/Pettite/Pavano) MAX out this year, they cannot touch the potential of our Young Guns. Papelbon/Beckett/Matsuzaka is potentially the best young tandem to come along since Maddux/Glavine/Smoltz... Please stop with the idiocy. And Igawa? LOL! He is a #5 over here..most scouts cannot believe the Yankees paid him what they did.
  4. We have the best rotation in baseball..and it is not even close. I understand the question marks..I really do.. However, I believe last year was a fluke where Josh Beckett uis concerned. I fully expect Beckett to be a top 10 pitcher in the AL this year. Add to Beckett Schilling..who will also be a top 10 starter and you have a nice start. Matsuzaka is going to be the best statistical pitcher we have...I think other teams will really struggle against him, especially the 1st time they see his arsenal. Papelbon was already very good as a starter..albeit a small sample size...and then he was utterly dominant as a closer...no reason to think he will not be a top of rotation starter. With Wakefield..we know what we will get...something like a 14-11 record with a 4.85 ERA and a bunch of innings. Not bad for a #5. All in all..I think we have 4 top of rotation starters and a solid 3 or 4 who will be our #5. No staff comes close to this kind of potential.
  5. Me thinks Beckett has hit the weights this offseason... He looks fantastic! Cannot wait to get this thing going!
  6. Fat George will never let Mo come to Beantown.. That being said, if we had a chance to get him next year I would hope Theo would make a mighty effort to sign him. Besides his talent...it would absolutely CRUSH Yankee fans across the country to see Rivera closing games for the Sox..it would be absolutely wonderful.
  7. Texas Rangers just got Kip Wells... I thought he had potential..but 18 BB and 16 K's.. No f'ing thanks. Now let's see a little Andruw Jones/Smoltz..Hudson news;)
  8. Yankees just traded Chacon for Craig Wilson.
  9. I cannot believe we are getting shut out by Gary Busey. http://www.buseyworld.com/Headshot2.jpg
  10. The Big Eunich is PERFECT through 4.
  11. Randy Johnson is PERFECT through 4..
  12. Rocko's nose got in the way.
  13. Keep hitting us you fuggin cack-sackers! Woo-hoo..What a BOMB!
  14. Schilling, fresh off All-Star snub? Lights out.
  15. A-rod...lol..even his teammates laugh at him.
  16. I am sorry Yanks fans.. Bases loaded..with no outs, in the 3rd inning,...against a TERRIBLE pitcher, is not a pressure packed situation. When A-rod does this agains the Sox..vs. a Schilling/Beckett/Papelbon...in a TIGHT Game...with something on the line..come talk to me. Soler is terrible and should only be starting for the Mutts. Let me also add...the Yankees are the most despicible and bandwaggonning fans in sports.. They get 70-80 mill more to spend..outspend everyone for A-rod and everyone else they want..yet still start crying about Cashman going out and getting Abreu or Carlos Lee.. What a bunch of f***ing petulent, doochebags they ALL are.
  17. Ahh good times...Should be fun watching the Yanks and Mets beat the phuck out of each other tonight.. Of coruse I am rooting for the Mets... But I wouldn't be too pissed if my new Fantasy Acquisition.."Giambroid" went yard and had a few rbI's and Rs;)
  18. Well..I just don't get exactly why we got him. I mean Snyder is no Gem..but he did pitch somewhat effectively. This guy Johnson flat out sucks. I thought he was supposed to be a good GB pitcher? All I see is he has absolutely NO command whatsoever...of any pitch. He took us out of this game in the 1st 2 innings. And what the hell was Loretta thinking? Would have been nice to at least have gotten 1 run last inning.
  19. gain from the Mets board... From: chrisgreen 9:42 pm To: minayaexpress01 unread (213 of 214) 192263.213 in reply to 192263.209 crisp just broke the mets. that was a game tying double that he took away. Thsi is what happens when you face a team that is that much on fire. They are gods right now.
  20. Welcome to Boston Coco!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11 WEB GEM?
  21. from the Mets Board....lol From: porf521 9:26 pm To: cynjon unread (194 of 196) 192263.194 in reply to 192263.185 Word, this is beyond embarassing if we lose. And please don't give me this ch1t about us catching a Hot Team, F that, we meet these guys in the WS, we're screwed
  22. Big Deal..so he gets 1 big hit..law of averages has to come into play once in a great while. Nobody is saying the guy is not a freakishly good player..we are saying he is nowhere near as good as Papi, in the "Clutch"..when it REALLY counts. He never will be. He was never clutch in Seattle...he was never Clutch in Texas...he does alot of damage when the Yankees are behind by 7 runs or ahead by the same. He will always be a productive player...but he will never be the kind of FORCE that David Ortiz is. Pitchers sh!t their pants when Papi comes to the plate in a close game. And remember this..A-rod never wanted to be a Yankee. He still doesn't. He got stuck in NY. he even tried to give away 30 mill to go to Boston and NOT NY...lol. How does that make you feel Yankee fans? LOL!
