  1. No, I wasn't disappointed by the drugs, I don't care. I was disappointed the breaking news wasn't a trade.
  2. It seems all the Yankee blowout losses are at home. That's tough for Wigginton, in his career year.
  3. Justin Gatlin tested positive a few months back for testosterone, as just said on ESPNEWS. When they said breaking news, I was like, holy s*** and ran to the TV. I was disappointed.
  4. Buster Olney, just on ESPNEWS, said that if the Sox were to trade Crisp, there would be another deal to get a centerfielder.
  5. Crisp for Buehrle? Holy s***, do it. That said, it isn't happening.
  6. If you're going to insult a team that you haven't even made yet, at least take it up with the actual team instead of the press. They're not giving, and they now will not get any respect from their organization. It just doesn't help the cause.
  7. Oh yeah, and wasn't the play of the game when Rivera threw Papi out in the 1st inning?
  8. Red Sox: Youkilis 1B Loretta 2B Ortiz DH Ramirez LF Nixon RF Varitek C Lowell 3B Crisp CF Gonzalez SS Angels: Figgins CF Izturis 3B Cabrera SS Guerrero RF Anderson DH Rivera LF Kendrick 1B Kennedy 2B Molina C
  9. Jeannie Zelasko: Shouldn't the Mets just give up on Lastings Milledge?
  10. These kids need to shut the f*** up.
  11. Before they both crumbled in NY.
  12. His 7 starts: vs. Baltimore at Cleveland at Tampa Bay vs Kansas City at Seattle at Oakland at Kansas City not exactly tough opponents, just one has a winning percentage of .500, and that's Oakland, with a terrible offense.
  13. You do realize he is a rookie, and this is his toughest outing yet. He's not experienced, maybe the atmosphere will throw him off. I'm not saying he is going to completely suck, but maybe early on we can get a run or two and get off to a good start.
  14. Beckett's still a good pitcher, he'll keep us in the game. Gotta jump on the kid early, hey, maybe he'll be rattled by the atmosphere.
  15. Yeah, that'd be nice. Good luck the next two days.
  16. Virtual shake on it.
  17. Likely Freddy Garcia, which would be a pretty nice move baseball wise. PR-wise, it wouldn't send a good message to them pink hat fans!
  18. It still blows it. And we're still losing.
  19. Not necesarily, amidst all the talk that the Wild Card will be out of the Central, the Yankees lead the WC.
  20. I'm not counting us out yet, but it'll be tough. I'll never count out the Red Sox after 2004.
  21. We gotta make a dent in the 7th, because, as I said, Shields and Rodriguez is arguably the best 8th-9th inning combo in the league.
