    Okay, why limit this to 1B? Plenty of defensive liabilities at all positions. It matters to the voters, though.

    Holy s*** what a play. And yeah Edgar doesn't have the counting stats but .312/.418/.515, and widely considered by the voters (the people who matter in this issue) as the best DH of all time. If Edgar isn't in, Ortiz won't get in.
