  1. My god Middlebrooks is so awesome. 2-1.
  2. Pedroia and Gonzalez with hits in the 1st. That's big.
  3. Papelbon blows his first save in Philadelphia. Unfortunately it was against the Rays.
  4. Very similar to last 1st inning. Could have been much much worse.
  5. Saw a sign in the stands directed at Rem-Dawg. Do ya research, kid.
  6. So Fox is broadcasting ALL of the 7:15 games, meaning I can't watch anything on MLB.tv. So lame. 1-0 Atlanta and threatening for more.
  7. Would be really good to win this one. Clay Buchholz was scratched from his start on Sunday due to illness. Aaron Cook was scratched from his PawSox start so he's the frontrunner to replace him EDIT: Cafardo confirms it will be Cook tomorrow.
  8. Credit given. Looked like he was going to give up 6 runs in the 1st alone.
  9. Nice, on the board. This WMB/Nava combo...
  10. The classic reverse lock game.
  11. Man, this sucks. Was definitely expecting a big offensive outbreak given the Marlins series and Jurrjens' season. Still 6 outs, but Kimbrel is pretty damn good.
  12. Tim Lincecum has fallen about as much as a pitcher can fall this year. Just walked in a run, it's 3-0 Oakland with 0 out in the 1st.
  13. Alright, time to score off Cy Jurrjens.
  14. It's not surprising though. Boston is a bigger baseball town by far, and they also dismantled the team.
  15. Nick Swisher with the assist.
  16. Never realized Matt Stairs was actually a smart guy. Let's make it 6 tonight.
  17. Advantageous pitching matchup. But it's also not like Jurrjens doesn't have talent. Last year he had a 2.96 ERA in 23 starts. But the Sox are hot, and Jurrjens is not. Let's do it.
  18. I'd bet good money that Ellsbury hits leadoff when he returns. It worked pretty well last year.
  19. Yes, ugh, I forgot about this. Every single deadline and off-season, I see this site swoon over the idea of trading for either Hanley Ramirez or Felix Hernandez. It is not going to happen. I promise. At least one Miami team lost tonight. Great comeback, love the sweep, and the Sox have now won 5 straight and 7 of 8.
  20. Big fan of the child rape jokes I see.
  21. Why now? He's retired 14 in a row. Let him finish the 6th. EDIT: Or not.
  22. That'd be great. He was at the game last night with his new girlfriend/wife. He did well with her.
  23. Definitely wouldn't have bet on Ortiz in June 2009.
  24. He's Jewish and I'm not eloquent.
