TBS did an awful, awful job with the ALCS. Missing some of Game 6, going to the wrong camera, terrible announcing, s***** wardrobe selector.

I would say it was more relying on giving long contracts to aging veterans is what killed them. Getting big names helps, if you know what you're doing.

Yeah, 2003 was far far worse. And I think we'll muddle through, we still have a championship basketball team and a pretty good football team. If you're into that stuff.

See my post in the game thread. This season was awesome. We had a ton of injuries, we still made the playoffs, we still won the first round and came within a game of the World Series. We're not going to win it all every year, nobody does that. It was a good year.

As upset as I am at the result, I'm pretty proud of this team. On Thursday, there was no way you could have told me we would be here. We made an absolutely epic comeback in that game and we won an awesome Game 6. Game 7 was a fantastic game, but quite simply put, we didn't play well enough to win. One first inning run isn't going to beat a team like that. It was an awesome season, we weren't supposed to win the first round, we weren't supposed to win Game 5, but finally it came to an end. I loved every minute of it, and I loved spending it here. Peace*. *:I'll post in the offseason, but I needed that for emphasis.
