  1. Man, as much as I love Youk for his Jew-ness and his being one of the two guys left from 2004, Middlebrooks is awesome and should be this team's every day 3B. No doubt.
  2. Bitch hits are nice when they're for the Sox. Tie game.
  3. 27. My post was mostly tongue in cheek. However, I do think Pedroia's injury is going to nag for the whole season if he keeps playing hurt. It might be wise to DL him if they want him later in the season.
  4. Pedroia in June: .170/.237/.226 Punto in June: .391/.481/.609
  5. Raiders, you say? http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lpbp6sufNz1qg7n8x.jpg
  6. Phew, now I can keep watching the game past this inning.
  7. Whoa Sal Fasano! I love that guy.
  8. Man I hope some team is stupid enough to trade a starting pitcher for Youkilis.
  9. Well hopefully the offense keeps it going because Dice-K isn't going to do this team any favors.
  10. So the 2012 Dice-K doesn't escape these jams. He gets close though.
  11. .170/.237/.226 in 13 games since being back. 3 for 8 in his last 2 games though which is encouraging.
  12. I think this is the best lineup they can put out right now.
  13. You know it. Wicked hot today, but about as good a baseball day as you can have. Sox win big, other 4 ALE teams lose.
  14. I remember the good old days of 23 hours ago when this thread had a real topic. I suggest going back to it.
  15. I really hope that bunting with a runner on 2nd and 0 out doesn't become a pattern. Especially confusing that Pedroia and Ross were the bunters, both very good hitters. Great to see the Ross bat flip return, though. Not a great night for Buchholz, but the bullpen and offense saved the day. Over .500 once again.
  16. Bringing the Coco mojo tonight and tomorrow.
  17. Nitpick, but re: Pokey Reese, when the Sox traded for him in 2001 he was with the team for 2 days, and then they didn't offer him a contract. Then Theo signed him in 2003.
  18. Gotta hand it to the Yankees right now. This is pure dominance.
  19. I was a Manny guy until he basically quit on the team in 2008. I was at his last game with the Sox, and he looked like he just didn't care anymore. Meanwhile, tying run at the plate. Come on.
  20. I would pay money to hear Terry tell an hour worth of Manny stories.
  21. Man there's been some seriously sloppy baseball in the last inning. 5-3.
