Like you said, facing the NL is a lot easier. I'm not expecting s aub 3.00 ERA from Beckett in the AL East. I think anywhere around the 3.50 level would be an "ace", 4.00 is a solid #2. Based on his stuff, I think he'll finish somewhere in the 4.2-4.3 range in ERA.

I agree. He pitched very well today and deserved better. I think you can pin these last two losses on Torre's misuse of the bullpen and Chacon's inability to give the Yankees innings yesterday.

Rotoworld also reportng Snyder likely to get the start on Monday... Kyle Snyder will likely start Monday's game against Washington. Snyder was claimed off waivers by the Red Sox this week. He was dumped by the Royals and it is doubtful he will have any fantasy value even in the deepest AL-only leagues.

You wouldn't trade Trot for a guy who could shorten the game even another inning? Rodney in the 7th Timlin in the 8th Paps in the 9th Look, I like Trot as much as the next guy, but he's injury prone and not the same player he once was. I'm not saying they have to dump him but if the right deal comes along (this would qualify, even as a pipe dream) you need to pull the trigger. Besides, Wily Mo will be back by the trade deadline.
