    At that point Okajima had worked 1.1 innings. You needed to get in a position to win the game again. Instead of overworking Okajima (he clearly was not effective at all and got a bit lucky), he should have gone to Papelbon and try to win TONIGHT because he can gain divisional ground. He didn't. He hung Okajima to dry and got lucky, and then went to the corpse of Mike Timlin and got lucky again. Who's he gonna start in the 12th if the Sox don't score? Lopez?

    If we want Okajima to be as effective in the second hald as he was in the first we should become cognizant of his workload.

    Papelbon is nowhere to be found because hey, if we did what we did last year Papelbon could blow his shoulder out again. Papelbon should have started the inning. Okajima gave you 1.1 innings, he really rolled the dice. Okajima's shoulder is going to fall off in a few weeks at this rate.
