    JD Is really disappointing. He's become a singles hitter with an empty .300 average the last month or so. It's pathetic that Dustin Pedroia has a better SLG than JD Drew.

    We need someone like Sanders though. And adequate RHH 4th outfielder, decent with the glove and the bat. It pains me to say it, but if he's not gonna play I'd like to see WMP shipped out of here for some help for this year's stretch run.

    If the Yankees want to make any noise in the division race they need to have it within 3 or 4 when they head into that awful stretch you described. As bad as the Sox have looked lately they should have a large enough lead to withstand any charge provided they have around a 5 game lead at that point.

    What's everyone's problem? If Francona was perfectly willing to punt this game and lose it by not pinch hitting Tek and Drew then no one else should be upset, either. BTW, it's coming to the point for me where I can't root for Drew anymore. His ass needs to be in the lineup tomorrow night. f*** Francona's JV lineups. Space out days of rest instead of having 1/3 of your lineup be JV.

    I think Julian has done an excellent job this year. I just think that it's time for him to go to the pen not because of his recent ineffectiveness, but because of the amount of innings he has pitched. He's closing in on 100 I think and that is a lot for a guy who's been in the bullpen for the last 5 or 6 years. Bring Lester up.
