I actually think a competent 4th OF should be the priority. I fully believe if Ellsbury was right handed he'd be perfect for the role.
I don't think any starter is going to be available at the deadline. I think Schilling at 80% is better than anything you could get anyway.
I'd start the inning with MDC and have Paps warming up just in case. The reason being is it saves your best relievers for tomorrow when you still have an excellent chance of winning tonight.

Haha, Buchholz is going to be an amazing pitcher, but look at what Cabrera has done in a relatively short career.

BTW, KC is playing really well right now. Took 2/3 in both Boston and Detroit, and in the game they lost in Detroit fought back to tie it in the 9th.
That and the fact that Yanks suck on the road give me a glimmer of hope heading into this week.
Keep in mind the Yankees have that suspended game to make up.
So it's really a 6.5 game lead barring a huge disaster.
