    Color me tremendously disappointed that the Red Sox could not pull the trigger on Dye. Adding his bat would have made them prohibitive WS favorites and they couldn't get it done. The Gagne deal was tremendous, but I really think they need to upgrade this offense to really make a push for the ring.

    Theo really should not drag his heel in on this one, but maybe he can throw in Lowrie to get this deal done? WMP/Lowrie/Pauley? Is that enough? Anyways, he really needs to do all he can to get this deal done because it's great injury insurance for Ortiz and Ramirez and our lineup becomes the best in the AL. edit - I would give up Masterson to do this BTW.
