  1. Do you even know what I'm talking about? No? Thanks for playing, then.
  2. Isn't Glaus questionable for this series?
  3. Mussina's a whiny bigot and deserves exactly what he gets. edit - Future HoF Chris Britton into the game now.
  4. LOL!
  5. Man you love your fantasy teams a lot huh? Let's see if we can't get something done.
  6. MIKE MUSSINA IN RELIEF!!!!1111
  7. Roger sure loves to sport that 2.00+ WHIP. How many more starts does he make this year? 3? 4?
  8. Rajah's elbow must be hurting him. Ichiro goes yard, 2-1 M's.
  9. Pedroia plays every day. One of those two will win although I still think Okajima should be in the conversation.
  10. Here's my team, thinking it's OK for the first go-round. QB: Drew Brees (NO) Jay Cutler (Den) Matt Schaub (Hou) RB: Cedric Benson (Chi) Adrian Peterson (Min) Marion Barber III (Dal) WR: Torry Holt (STL) Calvin Johnson (Det) Santonio Holmes (Pit) Anthony Gonzalez (Ind) Derrick Mason (Bal) TE: Vernon Davis (SF) Chris Cooley (Was) K: David Akers (Phi) Defense: Chicago Bears Quick preliminary thoughts: I'm hoping Brees can replicate his monster season from a year ago obviously, but I feel Cutler and Schaub are more than adequate insurance policies. Running back is probably my weakest position, relying on hope that either Benson or Peterson emerges as a big time RB. MB3 is a touchdown vulture so maybe I can pick up some cheap scores there. WR doesn't leap out at you but I feel I had a very good draft in terms of that position, as I fully expect Holt and Holmes to have good years. Plus, if Mike Martz's offense can get Mike Furrey 100 catches I'm sure he can do something for CJ. Defense I'm happy with and TE is a crapshoot, but Cooley and Davis are solid safety valves for their respective teams. All in all, I hope AP can take off this year (except when they play GB, lol). A solid, not spectacular team.
  11. Yes, they were outperforming their pyth record all year. This is called a regression to the mean.
  12. They're not going to fire Carr. If they don't beat OSU they can only hope he resigns.
  13. Hey guys, it's not a bad thing if they shut down Buchholz soon. I fully expect him to make 2-3 more starts anyways.
  14. You closed the other thread before I could gloat about seeing the no-hitter.
  15. Sox keep pace, Yanks finally lose some ground. Red Sox: Predicted - 83-54 Actual - 82-55 (-1) Yankees: Predicted - 75-62 Actual - 76-61 (+1) Interesting series coming up. The Sox have the Jays, who split a 4 game home series right after the ASB with them. Luckily, we miss AJ Burnett who pitched today. Yanks can go a long way in ending the WC race and knock the Mariners right out of contention.
  16. Fantastic job.
  17. As much as I hate to agree with morons, Mike Lowell is my choice as well. Runner up would be Hideki Okajima.
  18. Man, the road to the Hall of Fame got a little tougher for our boy Edwar, huh?
  19. Such a classy organization. Well done.
  20. Michigan fans are on suicide watch, lol.
  21. Hey hey hey. I'm in and i registered.
