    No one is saying Thomas isn't a good goaltender. What we're saying is Thomas will never be a goaltender who can "steal" a series for the Bruins. There's a huge difference.

    26 - I have my doubts as to whether or not Ortiz used steroids or any other PEDs or not - but to automatically assume he did without a shred of evidence is intellectually dishonest and contributes nothing to the discussion. Do I think it's possible he used? Yes, I do. But until I have some tangible evidence (like the ARod and Pettitte "admissions"), I will not conclusively say he did them one way or another.

    Bad rebound goal against Thomas, snipe in the slot, and then a ******** goal that went off Thornton's skate. San Jose choked the life out of them in the third, completely wore them down.

    San Jose has crazy depth, I'd like to see what a 7 game series would be like with both teams healthy. Tim Thomas had a terrible third period - sometimes a goaltender has to bail his defense out, and I've never thought TT is good enough to do that. IOW, he's a product of the defense in front of him.
