  7. Gotta love ESPN putting the two biggest New England stars against each other so early in the "contest". I kinda doubt we'll see Jeter facing A-rod anytime soon:rolleyes: With that said though the whole concept is dumb and the hosts are worse. It has nothing to do with who's better or has had a bigger impact on their sport...it's who's the favorite of ESPN.

  9. Let him move there then:D
  10. Ya that's what i was thinking...if he can take a few weeks, month off and be solid and rolling heading into late august, september....i far prefer that to him waking up one moring in october and he can't move his leg
  11. what's the rehab time for the meniscus? I know all about acl, mcl, ect.. but how long are you out after having it scoped? Just wondering if he should have it done now (with a good lead) so to be sure he's ready for the postseason rather than have it get worse and him out when we need him most!
  12. Let's not forget that Halliday went on the DL with appendicitis right after that start against the sox....he obviously wasn't right that night (as remy kept pointing out)
  13. Just heard on WEEI that the lineup is: 1. J.D. Drew, RF 2. Dustin Pedroia, 2B 3. David Ortiz, DH 4. Manny Ramirez, LF 5. Kevin Youkilis, 1b 6. Mike Lowell, 3B 7. Coco Crisp, CF 8. Doug Mirabelli, C 9. Julio Lugo, SS -- Tim Wakefield, SP
  14. For what it's worth arod's agent, boras, was on Jim Rome is Burning as a guest earlier this year. (in studio) He said that he doesn't know what arod is going to do, but if he chooses to opt out he fully expects an 8 year deal. Me thinks the sox won't commit to that...and i hope I'm right
  15. Wow, you mean ESPN is doing something about the yanks:o
  16. Sorry maybe a bad choice in titles......my problem isn't with the pick, it's with the way he did it. If you are going to pick someone to start, do it on why they are there in the first place (their performance this year) and not because he's the local guy
  17. Just heard on WEEI that Leyland has named Haren the starter for the all-star game. He said his decision to do so was largely based on the fact that the game in in SF, so Haren is a local favorite:rolleyes:
