I was not associating last night with my post.....i just think if we plan on winning the whole thing, we need tizzle at 100%........and until he takes time off that isn't going to happen. my $.02

I am not a KG expert...but i have heard exactly opposite of this from every talking head out there.

We can agree to disagree then....the c's have issues and have traded away alot. However I think they can contend this year if they stay healthy. (which i have said all along)

buchholtz did an interview on WEEI a couple weeks ago in which he said the sox told him they were only allowing him to pitch 150 innings this year...which means he has about 40 left in him...whether that be in AAA or boston

cleveland has noone past lebron, yet somehow they got to the finals. If the c's were in the west i would agree with you, but this is the east where lebron himself got the cavs to the finals....it's stupid to think that a team with garnett, peirce, and allen don't have a chance. I consider contending to be having a good chance of getting to the eastern conference final, and then then final.........the c's as presently constituted have that chance, and they are not done getting new people yet.

i still think we should shut him down and get his knee taken care of...then the shoulder can heal as well.....keep WMP and give him more ab's. Let's get ready for the postseason, we need tizzle more then than now!

Wang and his 27.00 ERA yesterday say hi! Good to go into an off day and long flight with a win...now let's take 2 out of 3 (if not a sweep) from the o's!

I think we need to seperate the questions: Will the c's contend for a title? -If healthy, then yes because they play in the east and should have a chance to make the finals Will the c's win a championship? not likely to beat a team in the west, but anything can happen.

Why can't they contend? If they stay healthy they should have a great chance to get to the Finals...look at what cleveland did last year. Once they get to the finals they will be way overmatched, but that's still contending.
