Am I the only one who noticed that the Raptors...yeah...the TORONTO RAPTORS have won 5 games in a row and have a 3.5 game lead over the Nets for 1st place in the Atlantic...wow. Imagine them getting the 3rd seed in the Eastern Conference.

I just hope we get one of them, Oden or Durant. I'd definitely be beyond happy if that happened.

Yeah, I agree with that. My point is that IT DOESN'T MATTER. THE GUY IS 7'1'' 280 POUNDS. That's kinda big if you haven't noticed and it's definitely an advantage for Oden.

He's played with Tom Gugliotta (20/9) in Garnett's rookie season, Chauncey Billups, Wally Szczerbiak, Stephon Marbury (who flirted with 20/10 assists for a couple years), Terrell Brandon (used to be a good guard), Ricky Davis, and Sam Cassell (the same one you said he'd die to play for) when he was averaging 19 points and 7 assists rather than his 6 and 3 with Olajuwon's Rockets. So to say that Garnett would kill to play alongside players like Robert Horry and Sam Cassell is wrong.

Weak, Garnett is playing with two other 13+ point scorers this season alone with Ricky Davis (16 PPG) and Mark Blount (13.5 PPG).

This is great. We actually have a direction now. Last season, we were bad and the lottery watch was active throughout the whole second half, however there was still a slim possibility of making the playoffs which sucked. This year, I had a bad feeling that it was going to be a repeat but this is the best option other than winning it all, in my opinion.

Just shut up, I completely agree with what See Red said about Durant because he actually knows what he's talking about. You don't know what you're talking about and you make minor points that are true but don't mean anything and then just argue about them when they don't make a difference.

I just don't see how the point that you're attempting to make relates to anything. Size is on Oden's size and obvioulsy he's not going to grow another 5 inches but his size is good for the NBA right now so your point is nonexistant.

Exactly, they both have the potential to be incredible talents but the effect of a dominant center in the sport of basketball is something that leads to wins and with the right circumstances in place, leads to championships. In that sense, Oden is a more appealing option than Durant.

OK, first of all the fact that you would take Garnett over Olajuwon is irrelevant because Oden isn't an Olajuwon clone and Durant isn't a Garnett clone. You can't just base your opinion off of that...and also how many championships has Olajuwon won compared to Garnett?

One more thing, please don't argue with me about the Celtics unless your name is yankshater213, because I doubt any one of you (excluding yankshater) have passionately followed this team since the glory days of vitaly potapenko, nervous pervis ellison, and dana barros and that includes going to numerous blowouts this season without losing hope and watching just about every painful minute of Celtics Basketball this season. Nobody wants this team to succeed more than the real diehards, not the ones who are suddenly jumping on the bandwagon because they hear names like Oden and Durant.
