  1. I hear ya. I may be off on analysis today, I am a little drunk. BTW, that pitch was a f***ing ball, f*** charlie relaford, f***ing **********!!!
  2. Willis would need to be dealt for an already established, young star plus prospects. No way it gets done without Paps...
  3. I thought he was 92-94 with the occasional 97. He was consistently at 97 so far...
  4. captain gets the first hit of the night. f*** Beckett....
  5. Beckett is overthrowing, he was in 97-98 range....
  6. Cabrera was hitting .385 in AAA, he had to be called up....
  7. Randy was very cautious in that inning.....
  8. seriously, f*** this guy. Contreras is the biggest pussy in the game. He dogged it as a yankee and then comes out as a CY candidate once he leaves. I hope he's out for the season, the prick...
  9. I like you and all, but I hope you get a stinker of a present from your boys tonight....
  10. I didnt get that, what did you say again?
  11. My team is better. Simple grammar you faggot. I would make a crack about Texas here, but what the hell, it might be time to be original and consider for once that your hick upbringing might have no bearing on how f***ing retarded you truly are. We could go into this further, but I'll say this, look at the standings and who is on top right now. After this series, we'll know who is better right now. As for you, you haven't made me look like a jackass, you have continually shown how completely and utterly stupid you are. Here are a few classics from your sorry ass that is utterly dumb, only a moron would take that stance I didnt know cowpoking was as lucrative as medicine. Maybe I should get in on that field instead. We have the cockiest fans in the game? Have you read your posts lately? See you had to point out in your post that it is not jealousy when in fact you are being totally hypocritical. You know you are jealous. You are jealous of the rings. You are jealous of our team this yr. You are jealous of the fact that we have seen more championships in our lives than your great grandfather did in his, yet he likely outlived us by 60+ yrs to this point. You are jealous of Yankee stadium, of the stars of the past, of the stars of the present and the stars that will be drawn to yankee pinstripes in the future. You know you want to root for the yankees, son, and I am here to recruit you. Come to the light, you know you want to. Sell your soul to George, and ye shall be rewarded. Jealousy will only eat at you from the inside, unlike your daddy who has been eating you out from the outside since you were 2.....
  12. I played against Pawtucket's starter. Deschenes threw an okay fastball, but he had one hell of a nasty breaking ball...
  13. ha, I took BP of Deschenes in Lowell, he would work out with us all the time. He started. Hansen relieved, 3.1IP 1H 4BB 0ER and his ERA is now 3.38.
  14. Trot started out on fire last yr too. Then he tailed off towards the end. His style of play does not lend itself to having a long career....
  15. Mussina finally adjusted to his age. His problems the last few yrs have stemmed from his velocity or lack thereof. In games where he didnt have velocity, he got wrecked. His change was around 78-80 and his knuckle-curve was in the low 70s. When his heat was mid-80s there wasnt enough of a change. Now his change is low 70s and his knuckle curve is mid 60s, so on days when his heater is mid80s, he is still effective. It was Maddux-esque and he has been solid....
  16. and you certainly wont get ranch or salsa flavor...
  17. they got Juan Cruz and he is in Arizona....
  18. hey sox fan in texas.... http://www.forumspile.com/STFU-You_Suck.jpg
  19. He is obviously a special player becaus power that young is rare. That being said, there have been many special players who falter.
  20. he isnt a starter currently.
  21. look deeper than that my friend.. Proctor 1.33ERA > Foulke 3.98 Myers 1.08ERA> Tavarez 4.97 Villone 1.80ERA> Seanez 8.74
  22. He and RJ are in the same boat is all I am saying....
  23. think about it this way. The guy is getting a chance to show what he can do, but in the end he is not the typical sox philosophy player. The sox have made some questionable pitching choices and the only reliable guy who will be in Boston in the rotation for a few yrs is Beckett. If the sox could nab a young, front line starter for Wily Mo, then they will prbably do it. Think about it, the reds dealt him when his value is low, but at high value, which he will get to by the AS break, he could head a package for a Zito...
  24. Like my friend Mr Crunchy pointed out, Wily Mo might be auditioning as a trade chip for a midseason pitcher...
