  2. Rupert Murdoch owns DTV. I didn't think the NFL was ever on cable. MLB abandoned it for $700 mil from DTV.
  3. Getting the BP figured out will definitely get things going right for this team. Three weeks left in ST. Theo constantly confuses me. XM radio isn't carrying either game today, so I'm bummed about that. They aren't broadcasting another Sox game until 3/10. I bit the bullet and signed up for Direct TV, I get that installed 3/17. Sounds like the deal could be announced as early as today per Eric Wilber of the Globe. Having NESN will be great!
  4. Thanks Fred. It's all good, only ST............patience young Jedi.....
  5. FRED, Hansen was in Ft. Myers and not at the Marlins game!!!!!! Boston IP H R ER BB SO HR ERA Matsuzaka 3.0 2 0 0 1 3 0 0.00 Pineiro (H, 1) 1.0 0 0 0 1 1 0 10.80 Delcarmen (BS, 1) 1.0 2 2 2 0 1 1 16.88 Romero 1.0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0.00 Hernandez (H, 1) 1.0 0 0 0 0 1 0 18.00 Burns (BS, 1)(W, 1-0) 2.0 6 4 4 0 0 0 9.00 James, M 1.0 0 0 0 0 1 0 0.00
  6. Okajima gives up a 3 run homer, Mets tied it 5-5. After Wake and Pap pitched so well too. Glad it's only ST.
  7. Donnelly is struggling, walked 2 and gave up 2 hits and 2 runs, only 1 out.
  8. Manny gets his first hit of ST, almost a HR!
  9. It was a guy named Burns. The mlb.com box score has been corrected. A strange mistake b/c the announcers were calling him Hansen.
  10. Today's line up, Mets v. Sox: Mets: Jose Reyes, SS David Newhan, LF David Wright, 3B Ruben Sierra, DH Jose Valentin, 2B Lastings Milledge, RF Mike Carp, 1B Ramo Castro, C Ben Johnson, CF Chan Ho Park -- SP Red Sox: Julio Lugo, SS Kevin Youkilis, 1B David Ortiz, DH Manny Ramirez, LF J.D. Drew, RF Mike Lowell, 3B Coco Crisp, CF Doug Mirabelli, C Alex Cora, 2B Tim Wakefield -- SP
  11. By Dan Shaughnessy, Globe Staff | March 7, 2007 Red Sox pitching coach John Farrell stayed back in Fort Myers to watch Craig Hansen and Abe Alvarez, but made it to Jupiter in time to see Matsuzaka.
  12. Fred, fyi, Hansen didn't pitch yesterday, it was a mistake, he hasn't been cleared to pitch yet.
  13. MLB must have changed the box score b/c during the game, it showed Hansen and the announcers said Hansen was pitching. The Globe box score still shows Hansen (getting the W) but he was apparently back in Ft. Myers w/ the pitching coach. Thank goodness it wasn't him!!
  14. This was mentioned in the ST thread but Hansen gave up 4 hits and 3 runs in the bottom of the 9th allowing the Marlins to tie the game. Sox up 8-6 top of 10th. Hansen's ST ERA is 27.00......uhhhhhhhhhh??????
  15. Another hit and another run. Marlins tie it bot/9.
  16. Hansen gave up 3 straight hits and 2 runs, bottom of the 9th.
  17. Pinero saw 4 batters today, walked one, k'd one w/ 2 fly outs, his ST ERA is now down to 10.8 whooo hooo!
