  1. Will he get to keep his nickname "The Big Sexy"? Or will the Yanks frown on that?
  2. Well there ARE enough of you Yankee mo' fo's out here. It's the least you could have done. Unless, of course, you are embarassed by your "guilty pleasure" of participating in banter with all of the *AWESOME Red Sox FANS out here! *Not including the Red Sox fans who now act like Yankee fans used to when you guys used to win and all.....:thumbdown
  3.
  4. LOL! Maybe playing in the Bronx will help him out of his 2 year slump, ya nevah know...

  7. Oh, ok thanks. Couldn't think of an actual sporting event that might be the reason. Cool, I'll get to bed early

  9. I'm bored out of my mind w/out baseball. And tomorrow's game starts at 10pm, at least it's a Friday. Will have the FOX game on Saturday. Does anyone know why Sun night's game on ESPN is at 6pm instead of 8pm? Not complaining, I wish it was always that early. Just wondering.
  10. Nice Kilo. And true, the Favre s*** is getting extremely old. But ESPN sure does love it, big shocker there. Their football homerism makes me ill. It's July FYI.
  11. Jesus bb, drop it already!
  12. Not a fan and he was quite annoying last night, as usual.

  17. He was SO embarassingly SAFE last night at first. Unreal.
  18. Red Sox place SS Lugo on disabled list July 12, 2008 BOSTON—The Boston Red Sox have placed shortstop Julio Lugo on the 15-day disabled list with a left quad strain. Lugo was injured Friday night while running out an infield single in the ninth inning of Boston's 7-3 loss to the Baltimore Orioles. Lugo began to limp as he approached first base, then dropped to ground shortly after hitting the bag. The Red Sox on Saturday called up shortstop Jed Lowrie from Pawtucket to replace Lugo. Lowrie was in the lineup for Saturday afternoon's game with Baltimore. Lugo was hitting .268 with 12 steals for Boston this season. Lowrie hit .310 with 7 RBI in 17 games with Boston earlier this year.

  21. Thank you! Waiting for the line ups to be posted.
  22. He looked great and pitched a complete game. Kottaras and Keilty each had 2 run 2B.
  23. Went to the PawSox v Richmond Braves games tonight, they had a DH b/c of a rain out last night. Lots of Sox fans there....shocker. They lost the 1st game 7-6 and won the 2nd 6-1. Knew Manny had tied it 5-5 but didn't know the BoSox won until on my way home. DVR'd the game, watching the 7th inning now. Can't wait to SEE the win. Torn about the NYY beating the Rays but...whatevah. Brooms tomorrow? :dunno:
