    I thought his primary position was SS and was switched to 2B? I could be wrong though. edit: We could still keep him at second though because he probably won't be up until midseason if at all this year. Again, not in favor of this, just pointing that out.

    I don't want to block Dustin, but he can play short as well and Soriano would probably be a one year rental. I'm not in favor of this, I just thought I'd point that out.

    Well, hitting-wise, Soriano > Loretta besides OBP. Soriano won't play the OF though, and would kill the infield defense.

    Sori would have some fun with the Green Monster, but I just don't think he fits. The guy is too stubborn to play OF and he sucks at second. Also it would probably put Loretta on the bench and screw everything up. I don't know.
