Success follows Dave for a reason. Failure was experienced by Bloom, because he was a terrible GM.

    At the very least, he should contribute 150 + innings saving the bullpen from burning out in mid June. I am not going to give the prospects or the $ a second thought as the team has plenty of both.

    Trading Mookie will be the Curse of the Bambino Part 2. Mookie won a World Championship with Boston in 2018 (Ruth 1918). Mookie was traded after 2019 season (Ruth 1919). Since the trade, Mookie has gone onto win 3 World Championships thus far. Ruth won 4 with the Yankees. Betts is ahead of Ruth’s pace.

    They need to add a big bopper— at least one. They need to shed Yoshida and Casas. They head the list. They have been and will be nothing but disappointments. From among Abreu, Rafaela. Lowe, Duran, Wong, Hamilton, and Eaton, move on from half of them. Starting pitching - Crochet, Bello, Early and Thole and I would look to add a #2.
