    The apple usually doesn't fall far from the tree. Character issues should be taken very seriously when drafting players -- especially in round 1.

    Castillo stinks. He will never wear a Red Sox uniform again because of the luxury tax implications.

    The reason why baseball has never returned to Brooklyn is because MLB made a deal with the Mets and Yankees to keep them in NY giving each an absolute veto right to block another franchise from coming to NY. The Yankee veto right extends for a 50 mile radius from Yankee Stadium and a 25 mile radius for the Mets. The Rays or any other team coming to NY will never be possible.

    Maybe a box of new balls, but that is about it. The organization needed to figure out who was going to be the catcher of the future and sold high on the other one. They waited too long. Vasquez won the job and Swihart's prospects have crashed.

    The Mets already have their version of Swihart in d'Arnaud. A catcher that can't catch. If they are going to fix someone, they will fix d'Arnaud.

    Sometimes there is a limited amount of fresh shrimp if you get there early, but usually it is crappy banquet food like Trey Ball. I'd rather have my $2,000 and order from a restaurant menu. And Benintendi was not worth finishing last. The Yankees didn't have to finish last to get Judge.

    Ron Darling (a Red Sox fan from childhood) made an interesting statement toward the end of the show. He said that never has there been a Triple crown winner whose statistics underestimated his importance to his team.

    LOL!! It is very hard to describe what 1967 meant to Red Sox fans, but you will get a pretty good idea from the documentary.

    It's like trying to explain the feeling you have when your child is born. You can't relate to it until you have lived it. Sorry kid, but you missed out.
