The ESPN guys don't know what they are talking about with Didi. Managers have been getting burned by Didi all season long with the lefty-lefty matchup. The move was to bring in Kimbrel after Sanchez reached.

I am not even going to let myself hope for Price coming back and being effective. -
i disagree. We took Chapman off the hook. Also, we should have had Hanley on deck. There was no reason to take his bat out of the lineup in a close game on the road in a game where Hanley was pounding the ball and the opposing closer is left handed.

Recently, in answering a question about the idiotic base running, Brain Dead said that "this game is the best teacher." No, the coaches are supposed to do the teaching so that the players don't have to learn from embarrassing mistakes.

Chapman was imploding. All our lineup needed to do was to let him self destruct, and we threw him a lifeline. Just idiocy.

The Yankees wiped the stupid smiles off of our faces tonight. We were laughing and smiling through this game like we had a 9-0 lead. This group need to get tough, get serious and play smart.

Not the coaching staffs fault. These guys should know the fundamentals long before they get to the major leagues....BUT THE COACHING STAFF NEEDS TO KEEP REMINDING AND REINFORCING THE FUNDAMENTALS. That is what they are there to do.

This is a big game. If he used Kimbrel for 6 outs to save this game, he could have rested him tomorrow and had him ready to help Sale win the Series on Sunday. Farrell is a brain dead dope.

Farrell thought things would go according to formula -- a 7th inning guy, an 8th inning guy and then Kimbrel, and he had no backup plan of one of those guys blew up.

This is the second series where we had the opportunity to administration kill shot, but we performed CPR and brought the Yankees back to life.

We had men all over the bases all night long and we left them out there. Our guys were laughing and giggling their way through the game like they had it in the bag, and then they pissed it away.
