    Benching Moreland and Devers in a playoff game for young and Marrero wasn't just not brilliant. It was dumb. Very dumb. What was your blather about fixing the lineup? Marrero and Young were not the solution.

    If it didn't matter what he did, because we weren't going to win anyway, I could live with you saying that, but you said that he managed brilliantly. He did not. Stop it Mrs. Farrell. Your son should have repeated kindergarten.

    Benching Devers and Moreland in favor of Marrero and Young was not brilliant.

    Some questions, I thought we would challenge the DP on Benintendi going back into first base. He looked safe to this old naked eye. How did the TV replays look? Also, I thought the ball hit on the ballgirl interference was foul. How did the replay look? Finally, if the roles were reversed and we were up 2 games to 1 and up 1 run in the 5th inning of game 4, do you think that Farrell would have brought in scheduled game 5 starter Sale like they brought Verlander?

    He can play first base, because Moreland will not be here.

    We blew the game in the early innings when we had runners all over the bases and only scored one run. We were squaring up everything. Betts hit into a scorching DP and then we sent our slowest guy home on a hit to LF. We left the bases loaded after have none out. Porcello kept the ball in the park but didn't pitch well or efficiently. Sale was great and didn't deserve the L. Kimbrel was awful giving up the go ahead run and the next inning he gave up an insurance run. When Verlander came into the game, I said to my son that it was a risky move. I mentioned to my son that if Benintendi went deep the Astros would have risked their game 5 starter for no reason if we hold the lead, and then he took him deep. LOL ! I would have stayed with Sale into the 8th. The guy that lost the game for us was Kimbrel. Pedroia looked awful the entire series. He looked like a shell of himself. He didn't get the ball out of the IF today. Wait till next year!

    The good news is that Morton usually blows up in the 5 th inning. These have been tough innings for him.

    Aggressiveness with the slowest guy in the lineup on a Hit to LF when we hit everything on the screws that inning. Devers on deck. More stupidity.

    Devers will get better with the glove. And big boppers at 1B are easier to get than a big bopper at 3B with a good glove.

    Aroldis is sweating like it is 120 degrees and the game is being played on the Equator.

    He is only 20. It took Boggs some time to develop int a good fielder. I think the kid will improve his game at the hot corner.

    I did see one post hoping that he could pitch the rest of the game, but none that wanted him taken out before he left the game. It is bad enough that Max is an abrasive, obnoxious, confrontational prick, but he misstates the intentions of other posters so often and so blatantly that I am starting to think it is deliberate and not just a result of his lack of reading comprehension.
