    Story’s elbow and deteriorating arm strength was a known issue. If we want to absolve the incompetent medical team from improperly addressing the issue in a timely fashion should Bloom also be absolved for not planning to fill the SS hole by resigning Bogey or one of the other top shelf SS’s? There are a lot of excuses going around for this last place organization.

    That would be silly. His elbow was a known issue. He didn’t injure it grabbing for a drumstick on Thanksgiving. A competent medical staff would have better assessed his condition and recommended this course of action earlier.

    Two teams passed on doling out hundreds of millions of dollars to Correa based on medical. Our medical staff signs off on two guys with bad elbows for more than $300 million— Sale and Story. Incompetence.

    They need to figure out more quickly when they are at the last resort stage. Or maybe do a better job of examining a player before inking him for more than $100 million. This is incompetence all the way. This isn’t an injury suffered after he was signed.

    Did Bauer get convicted of any crime. I haven’t read a lot about his case so I don’t even know the basis for his suspension. Also, McGuire got convicted of whacking off in public. Why does he get a pass… victimless crime?
