I am loving our starting pitching and the pick up of Eovaldi. I think we caught the Yankee line up in a bit of a lull, but this is great stuff winning 3 in a row without Sale. This was a big nail in the Yankee coffin. If they lose tomorrow, that would be the final nail for the division.
I guess Cora thinks Kimbo needs the work. Girardi never would let Evoldi get past the 6th inning. He would never let him face the order a third time even when dominating.
If you have extra innings package on your cable or satellite provider and a sports subscription to NESN, you can get around the blackout restriction for living in NY/NJ by streaming NESNgo on your computer.
Larry King’s last child with his wife (40+ years his Junior) is named Chance. I used to say that there was a slim Chance that it was Larry’s child or that there was a slim Chance that Larry would be alive to see him graduate high school.
Paging “Desperate Dave”. Page those who’ve posted numerous times about how he has “ravaged” or “blown up” or other colorful descriptions about the farm system. Terms like those reveal more than mere criticism. Yes there are DD haters. Plenty of them.
Pedroia? I thought he had a knee issue, and I don't remember him playing every day. Everyday players are also susceptible. This seems especially true of guys with thick muscular legs.
When they start getting hits and running the bases and squatting behind home plate for a few games, the legs take a toll. Baseball players may not move a whole lot, but every time they move, it is a fast and violent motion.
You can't handle what I am smoking. LOL!!! I have seen it so many times where a guy who starts getting regular playing time gets hot with the bat and starts running the bases a lot cramps up or pulls something. There legs are not truly in game shape. Lacing up the spikes and playing the games is different than other work done by a ballplayer.
