  1. C'mon, are you serious? I'm an idiot? You come up with a user name which is meant to annoy Red Sox fans and then you ask why it bothers me. Why doesn't your user name compare the Yankees Championships to St. Louis, which has the second most. It is a little immature to design a user name that is meant to irritate, and then as why the intended target (Red Sox fans) is irritated.
  2. Figueroa won 20 or 21 games I think for the 78 Yankees. Not too many people remember him. He was overshadowed by Gator, but he was a pretty good pitcher.
  3. I'm only giving one minute to answer this one. Here goes. 1. What was Mickey River's nickname, 2.who was he acquired with and 3.who did the Yankees trade to get him.
  4. one final question in 5 minutes.
  5. Cepeda is right. Very impressive Pinstrip Pride.
  6. 26 to 6 with the right answer, but 1 minute late. McCovey hit a bullett line drive to Richardson. As a followup, who was on Deck?
  7. In 1962, the Yankees won their last Championship before the Mantle/Ford/Maris team crumbled to the basement and oblivion for a few years. Who made the last out of that World Series and who caught the ball?
  8. One more question coming in 5 minutes.
  9. I wasn't sure about the Tony C part.
  10. I saw the game. lol!!
  11. Yaz made the catch on Tom Tresh and Tony C. caught the final out?
  12. Okay, if you can beat them at their own game, you are eligible.
  13. Your second choice was correct. Horace Clarke.
  14. His nickname was Hoss. Name him.
  15. All right. Another question in 5 minutes.
  16. That's cool. You got the disease. When I got my first job, the olt-timers were amazed that I knew trivia from the 40's and 50's.
  17. Ah, the YES Network, the great educational tool for Yankee history. I'll be back with some more tomorrow.
  18. JSInger you don't count. Aren't yopu a member of RSN? Sorry Pinstripe Pride, but Alexander the Great was a wee bit faster.
  19. Ding, ding, ding! Another winner! Alexander the Great, way to go! Did your dad or grandfather help you?
  20. Okay, since ARod's dad is a pretty tough customer, this question will be a followup about SuperChief, Allie Reynolds. He pitched a no-hitter against the Boston Red Sox. Who made the last out in that no hitter, what were the unusual circumstances of that last out?
