  1. He looked the same way at the beginning of last season. If we have time to worry about Manny, we must have nothing else about which to worry.
  2. Is that supposed to be a criticism?
  3. I hope this proves that I don't indiscriminately hate everything in pinstripes. That being said, I still believe that Jeter is a huge prima dona.
  4. As do millions of 40 ish Red Sox fan. You'll need to drop this from your list. Yaz may not have been Jesus, but the current owners and all those players who have worn a Red Sox uniform and pulled down multi-million dollar deals owe him a debt of gratitude. It was the 1967 club led by Yaz that completely revitalized the organization and the fan base. What had been a lackluster franchise has been moving forward and gaining value ever since.
  5. I remember that game. It was the part of the biggest choke in history.
  6. The ESPN gun had him at 86-87. The Stadium gun had him at 88-89.
  7. I don't know about that. Last year he gave up a boat load of Homers to number 9 batters. I think his velocity was down last year.
  8. Randy's velocity is lower than at this point last year. He rarely hits 90.
  9. Yes! Matsui is on my Fanatasy team.
  10. How could you have picked Johnson for your Fantasy Team? Are you a closet Yankee fan?
  11. At 86-87, his location will have to be perfect, but when he is on his location is perfect.
  12. another bomb off Foulke, but foul
  13. So far, Millar is 2 for 3 with a run scored and an RBI in his Oriole debut.
  14. Maybe you didn't watch the game, but he didn't have to gut it out. He was hitting 93-94 every inning with tremendous command. They were eating out of his hand. It looked like he could've thrown all day. Your hopes for his failure will be dashed. Too bad.
  15. Who pitches the 8th? Papelbon is warm.
  16. Schill pumping at 93 and 94 in the 7th. Very encouraging. Puts away Barajas
  17. Schill back out for the 7th. Still pumping at 92.
  18. Could've been a really huge inning. Loretta swung at ball 4 and gonzo pulled a rock on the same pitch.
  19. Oh Papi! Mr. Clutch. Is he signed yet? They had better do it fast before his price goes up.
  20. If it were 5-0, I would agree with you, but not a 4 run game on opening day. Papelbon and Timlin -- 7th and 8th.
  21. Crisp, a-la-Damon through the SS hole for a single.
