  1. He hit Mo pretty good, and that outweighs any numbers as far as I am concerned.
  2. Pitching and defense will be the deciding factors, and Jeter is the worst SS in baseball. http://www.nypost.com/seven/02162008/sports/yankees/study_claims_jeter_is_worst_fielding_sho_97934.htm
  3. Blasphemer!
  4. I have expressed my interest to ORS. I am looking forward to compeing with you guys.
  5. Pettitte and Knoblauch corroborate McNamee's story. Clemens admits his wife had been injected with HGH corroborating McNamee Pettitte says Clemens discussed using HGH. Clemens said Pettitte misheard on two occasions McNamee claims that Clemens developed an abscess on his buttocks from a botched steroid shot The injury to Clemens buttocks resulting from an injection was confirmed by independent sources. Clemens says the injury was from a B-12 shot Clemens adamantly denies taking steroids or performance enhancing drugs. Years ago Clemens lied in a criminal matter involving Texas police Does Clemens story add up?
  6. Not me. Our 4th OF always gets a lot of playing time.
  7. I just heard that Pettitte's affidavit states that Clemens discussed with Pettitte his use of HGH.
  8. I am betting that Clemens puts his foot in his mouth and sets himself up for a perjury conviction.
  9. I made the necessary corrections.
  10. If he never pitches again, I'll miss the big lug, but he'll always be an icon for bringing home two World Championships.
  11. When Nolan Ryan was with the Astros I recall that he had a frayed tendon in his elbow. Surgery was recommended. Ryan declined. He shut it down and said if it healed fine and if it didn't he would retire. It healed and he pitched for several more years. Of course, Ryan was much younger than Schilling when his injury occurred.
  12. ...or maybe he likes pitching and enjoys the competition and camaraderie and fame.
  13. This is very disappointing. I don't expect that he'll be able to contribute much this year if some doctors are recommending surgery.
  14. I agree, but each year I am surprised that he is still able to stay in the 90-92 range, and with his experience and his control, he can remain very effective. We'll have to see what he hits on the gun this year. He's got that tall lanky pitcher's build that allows him to produce a lot of leverage without putting too much stress on his arm.
  15. I've seen bad things happen at both places. If you meet up with an ass, it's best to ignore him, unless he throws a beer in your face, then it's go time.
  16. Jim O'Brien. His number was unusually high because he was also a wide receiver. A conventional style straight ahead kicker that is also a wide receiver. You don't see that anymore.
  17. A guy with more than 1,000 career appearances with only 13 guys ahead of him on the all time list is hard to criticize for lack of durability.
  18. Let's not forget that the yankees just took a big step back in the battle for New York.
  19. I don't think it was a knock your socks off offer. I am very surprised. Twins fans must want to throw up.
  20. I have maintained from the beginning that he will be with the Twins when they break camp to come north. I'd be very surprised if he got traded. Shutdown aces are the rarest of commodities. You'd have to knock their sox off to get Santana.
  21. I was on the road to Boston when the tickets went on sale.My daughter was in the virtual waiting room for 4 hours with no success. The phone lines were busy all day Saturday and even Sunday.
