    10 games behind the Yankees in the loss column. This season is f***ed unless DD pulls a rabbit out of the bag. This bullpen is not going to cut it.

    They are just having one of those seasons so far. They will hit some bumps. I don’t think they are a very exceptional squad. What they do have is an exceptional bullpen. DD should have snagged at least one of their guys.

    My head is also not in the sand. This hole was dug by DD building a bullpen out of garbage and Cora thinking that the season starts in October. This squad, even with the garbage bullpen, should be at least 10 games over .500 — well within striking distance. Cora takes the biggest part of the blame. It was the dumbest approach that I have seen to a Spring camp.

    I don’t know how helpful he can be. He has never been the same since.... Well you know. As for his personal life missteps, I think that baseball and the law have a process to impose punishment. After they pay the penalty, they shouldn’t be denied the ability to practice their trade.

    I thought it looked like he rolled the ankle twice on that play. I didn’t see anything that indicated a knee injury.

    When will Moreland and Pearce be returning to the team. They have been out for a long time. Did they need amputations?
