  1. Wang has the sinkerball going. Three DP's.
  2. Three pitches two outs. That's good. I did n't like reading about that nerve condition in his elbow. If he gets a little rest maybe it calms down. That ball hit by Sexson is probably in the second deck of the Bed pan in the Bronx.
  3. I thought that ball hit by Beltre would carry better.
  4. Maybe Goose should be the starter.
  5. Lugo looked like Lugo on that swinging strike three.
  6. That ball hit by Coco is an easy Homer in Cleveland.
  7. You really have to like what we have been seeing recently from Hansen. He had some nervousness in some of his earlier pressure situations, but i think he is over that hump and has confidence in himself now. You knew he had the stuff, but until recently you had to wonder about his mental toughness. I think he has been showing that he has something in his belly. I'd like to see a bomb by Moss this inning.
  8. Can I call the game in the Bronx now that the Yankees have a 6-3 lead and Mahay is still in the game. Mahay is the kind of pitcher that his manager should say a prayer when he comes into the game and after one inning the manager should bless himself and genuflect and say a prayer of thanks. If the manager looks to get two innings from this bum, he is just giving away the game.
  9. C'mon Hansen. No free passes.
  10. I am glad that you can take something positive from this outing.
  11. J.D. Drew continues to scorch the ball with a Homer into the batter's eye. in CF
  12. Although he made an out, Pedroia may have finished Bedard's afternoon. He's up over 100 pitches.
  13. Mahay in for KC. Wrap up this as a gift for the Yanks.
  14. With Masterson's height and delivery, right handed batters must think the SS is pitching to them.
  15. No, Giese is the plural of Goose.
  16. What's Bedard's pitch count?
  17. The Goose is now in for the Yankees.
  18. Just what we need is for a fragile Drew to get hit on the wrist.
  19. Joba departs after 4 1/3 innings with a man on first and one out. Down 3-2 he has no chance for a victory. Too bad.
  20. Nice AB to work a walk against a tough lefty by Moss.
  21. Don't look now but Coco has been have some very good AB's lately. It's about time, and it couldn't come at a better time.
  22. Gawky Sexson acted as a moving block on his second baseman on that pop foul.
  23. There was little or no hoopla around Masterson this spring, but he has more wins than the over-hyped trio of Joba, Hughes and kennedy. And Masterson is just a spot starter.
  24. Joba's career as a starter continues on a downward trajectory as he gives up a two out two run Homer to Guillen in the 3rd inning. He's given up 3 runs and 5 hits in three innings.
