  1. The agreement was to have both teams wear their home uniforms, but for some stupid reason, the Red Sox are wearing their Reds.
  2. If our bats go dead from this point on, we are toast.
  3. Shut down inning by ERod. His pitch count is probably too high to go 5 innings.
  4. ESPN and Manfred, I don't give a rat's ass about a painter in the stands. Tell me about the game.
  5. There is no indication that he is physically injured. He's just going terrible right now.
  6. Thank you EE swinging at the 2-0 and giving us an out. ER can't throw 3 strikes before he throws 4 balls.
  7. Lead off walk. That is always a recipe for failure.
  8. That is hard to believe. I knew that he has been dogshit against the Yankees, but that is mind-boggling.
  9. Not a chance. ERod's pitch count is too high.
  10. 53 pitches. He'll never go 5 today, and he may give up the lead right here.
  11. We will be lucky to get out of this with 2 Runs.
  12. So much for getting a shutdown inning. That ain't happening.
  13. What else is new with ER. We will be extremely fortunate to get 5 innings out of him.
  14. It doesn't really matter what the people here thought about Lemahieu. He was a National League who played out West, so most people didn't see much of him. Some of us knew about him and certainly DD should have known about him.
  15. We probably need 10 + runs to win this game. A shut down inning would be huge here.
  16. Back to back! Keep scoring boys. Three runs will not be enough in this place against this team.
  17. Max, the problem with the rotation was created by Cora's ill-advised dumb Spring Training approach. Lately, Price and Sale have been fine and so has ERod. We have no #5 due to injury and lack of depth, and Porcello has been Porcello -- a 4.50 ERA pitchers who will eat innings and throw an occasional gem. The Yankees lineup is just far superior. DD made the mistake of standing pat and keeping Pearce. LeMahieu was available to us and we had a hole at 2B. Even if Pedey came back, Lemahieu could play 1st or 3rd. The guy was a batting champion and no one except Cashman appreciated what he brings to the table. Going forward, the glaring weakness is the suck ass bullpen which imo will make it very difficult to get on a meaningful and needed winning streak. The games are just not safe at all after the 7th inning.
  18. It seems that the UK poster on here yesterday was right about the atmosphere affecting the pitchers. That is a big topic being discusses on ESPN as per the players.
  19. ARod is stealing from Eck using the terms "hair" and "cheese" when describing ERod's fastball.
  20. So, he took out our 2 best hitters to rest them International showcase. What an *******.
