Whew!!!! GAme over! Why would Varitek let him throw so many pitches over the plate with 0-2 count? I guess maybe he has become an offensive-orientd catcher. -
He's pounding the zone too much here. I agree with karos. Go out of the zone and make him chase.

I was just going to ask the same question. It looked almost like a an overhand curve. Unfortunately the fastball got whacked by Hunter. Thank goodness for the insurance run.
