    Agreed. This is a very strong team. They should cut through the weaker teams like a hot knife through butter. I have a couple of things that make me uneasy. The 1st is whether Dice K spent too manuy bullets at that stupid meaningless WBC. The second is a concern about Ellsbury's consistency in the leadoff spot. If he has 2 hot months hitting .340 and he hits .220 the rest of the time that could have a devastating effect on run production.

    Castiglione is turning into Jerry Trupiano. He gets all excited about fly balls that are caught. He's driving me crazy.

    We will not see another Manny-type hitter for years unless they somehow get Pujols. Lars and Manny being compared is not only premature, but it is preposterous.

    The Sox have many good hitters, but an order with Manny is just so much more imposing. The 1-2 punch of Ortiz and Manny was a game changer in so many ways. Those days of watching an offensive juggernaut are over.

    I'm not able to watch. Is Dice K serving meatballs? The Rays are looking to own the Sox in their own backyard.

    I think Lowrie is a good major league hitter. He's reliable in the field. His range is not great, but he has good hands and a strong accurate arm. It will be his bat that will keep him at SS.

    100. I'll be there opening day 2059. My Dad is 90 and my Mom is 84, and they still live in their own home with no help.

    I don't think the problem is the potential for accidents in the air. Jet pack travel is not high velocity like a jet plane. The problem would probably be policing air routes so idiots would not be flying over homes and other private property. The jet propulsion is downward so anything under it could be damaged and people below could be injured.

    It was inspired by a bad day at work. I find that being vicious to Yankee fans helps me cope. Gom is a good sport. He can take it as well as dish it out.

    Wow! A big fat guy that got bigger and fatter with age. There's conclusive proof for you. Most of the MLB coaches and managers must be juicing-- certainly Piniella and Lasorda. Gom stop circulating this old baseless crap and tell us more about how you make women cry by telling them that they are going to lose their homes. Now, that's entertaining.

    Kotsay can't hit like Carter. I'd like Carter to get the opportunity to mash the ball before Kotsay comes back.

    I think he will hit a few more HRs, but I'd be happy with the other numbers.

    Varitek with a double and a three run home run today.

    Bucholz's spring ended with a real clunker. He allowed six runs on nine hits and a walk in 5 1/3 innings.
