  1. I would throw in the toaster just to make sure.
  2. I wish he'd go swimming in his pool with a toaster.
  3. Penny has hit two rockets to 3B. If his arm goes dead, he could bang a few balls off the Monstah.
  4. It wasn't like Hanson was wild and missing the zone. He was ahead 2 strikes on both Ortiz and Varitek.
  5. After 2 nice lengthy ABs, Jacoby swings at the first pitch.
  6. He hasn't done that badly until that play.
  7. He beat up Paris Hilton?
  8. When is Hanson going to s*** himself from the flu?
  9. Wyclef who? I guess that says itall.
  10. Hanson should feint by the 3rd inning if he is sick.
  11. Mauer should be a DH. He's an elite hitter. Risking his health behind the plate is just foolish.
  12. This kid can hit.
  13. Cafardo said on the pre-game show that they are not in a rush to bring Lowrie back. he said that they will take some more time to work out the Lugo situation. Green is staying.
  14. Two of those four were against the Mets.
  15. Amalie Benjamin has gotten a bit of a makeover. No glasses and a different hairdo. Next she needs to get the nose done. I kinda liked that librarian look she had.
  16. Nice pick up for the Cards. He would have been a good addition for the Sox. I like him better than Teahen, LaRoche or Nick Johnson.
  17. With the cocktail of hormones and steroids that he was taking, he essentially reversed or stopped the aging process. He was a HOF caliber player before his head started growing. He cheated age and the inevitable decline that comes with it. He had the advantage of playing with 15+ years of experience, but with the physical skills of a 25 year old player. Take any retired ballplayer with the benefit of all his experience and put him back in his 25 year old body and he'll perform better than he did when he was 25. What I found amazing was that while Bonds was on his Roids fueled run, he almost never went after a pitch outside of the strike zone. His pitch recognition was phenomenal, far better than when he was a young player. When he was young, the slider in the dirt was how you got him out. I have heard theories that the Roids improve vision thus helping his pitch recognition, but I have to think that 15+ years of experience had something to do with it.
  18. IMO neither Johnson nor LaRoche is worth much. I'd rather the pursue someone else.
  19. Stinks! 18 saves under 3 ERA. Get rid of him.
  20. Nice shot of Vasquez picking his nose.
  21. I just don't remember him striking out at this clip in the past, most of them are called third strikes.
