  1. It’s all over except for the finger pointing. Injuries were not an excuse. The Yankees had far more injuries than the Red Sox which suffered no insurmountable injuries. The offense produces as many runs as it did last year. There were no anomalies from our offense. The failure was pitching. There was no depth in the rotation and the bullpen was a disgrace. The General Manager, manager and coaching staff take a major share of the blame.
  2. DD and JH quit on the team at the trading deadline and the team quit on them in return. Now the fans will quit on the team. Everyone will be on the same page.
  3. Did Cora handout xanax at his pep talk?
  4. ERod was very lucky tonight. Walking 6 against the Yankees should spell disaster.
  5. His inconsistency is infuriating.
  6. There was a pep talk? Who gave it?
  7. Did you hear about the guy who got a viagra stuck in his throat? He had a stiff neck for more than 3 hours.
  8. Terrible way to start the inning, but I thought he got squeezed on Encarnacion.
  9. I agree. They should remain in place until the beginning of 2020. Cora should be on a short leash in 2020.
  10. No Red Sox team in history has finished first three consecutive years. DD did that. He must know what he is doing.
  11. DD put together 3 consecutive division winners. Cora won once and s*** the bed this year. Buh Bye, bench coach.
  12. His manager, Clueless Cash got to him better than we did.
  13. [h=1]Noah Syndergaard Reportedly “Off The Trade Market”[/h]By Connor Byrne and Jeff Todd | July 31, 2019 at 10:25am CDT WEDNESDAY, 10:25am: The Mets took Syndergaard “off the trade market last night,” according to Joel Sherman of the New York Post (Twitter links). While the club is still talking about Wheeler — the Mets “have a price” that’ll need to be met in order to move him — it seems they are now all but closed off to a deal involving Thor. The roller-coaster ride of the Mets has continued unabated. While the club has a legitimate shot at sneaking into a Wild Card slot, it still needs to leapfrog some other teams to get there. After weeks of rumors regarding Syndergaard and Wheeler — following an offseason in which the former, especially, was batted around in trade chatter — it seems the New York org will attempt once again to build around the former and may even hang onto the latter.
  14. We had to expect that the Morton game would be a tough game. We should take the remainder of the series.
  15. Who would you drop from the rotation?
  16. That was a tough loss.
  17. Such BS with the Rays. Their lineup sucks and this bum d'Arnaud keeps beating us. Their manager is a moron makes lots of terrible moves and we still figure out away to lose to them.
  18. The Rays hit with RISP and we have sucked at it.
  19. I have been saying it for a long time. Cash is a moron. Morton has been very good against us and is one of the very best pitchers in the league. If I was Morton, I’d have to restrain myself from grabbing Cash by the neck after the game.
  20. I don’t know what you do when pigs like d’Arnaud are hitting HRs like crazy after being on the scrap heap. The second HR that inning also seemed like a flyball, but went 420. The ball is making a mockery of the game. d’Arnaud can’t hit a golf ball 453 feet off a tee with a running start.
