    Four things: 1. I'd like to punch Cervelli in his annoying face. 2. The Sox have left too many runners stranded 3. Crawford doesn't look like he has platoon issues 4. Salty looks like he has platoon issues-- not adequate at all.

    I think the Crawford batting #2 ship has sailed. With Ellsbury and Pedroia hitting and setting the table, there is no reason to upset the apple cart. While Pedroia batting clean up, Scutaro has performed okay in the 2nd slot. He gets a fair about of hits and walks, and many of his outs are productive.

    He put on some good ABs while he was with the Sox, but realistically he is probably just trade bait, because he can't play a position.

    The Delmon Young for Garza and Bartlett trade made the Rays a playoff contender. I remember watching the Rays that Spring and telling my brother that they weren't going to be doormats anymore. I had seen a lot of Garza in ST with the Twins in prior years, and he was very successful at jamming our top hitters.

    We lost power 8 am this morning, and they say it will be 2-6 days to restore power. Damn!

    Yes, they were given a choice. I'd have to think that playing 2 on Friday with 3 or 4 hours of sleep would've been easier on them than this.
