    Atchinson had at least one good emergency start that I can remember last year. He has 7 years on Wake and throws 25 mph harder than Wake. He looks like he is 50, but that should tell us that Wake must be dying his hair.

    I was in RF Roof box for the first time. The team was dead once Tito sent Wake back out after we knocked out Price and closed the gap to 4-2. I had a long drive ahead, and it wasn't worth staying.

    Reddick should have caught the ball, but truthfully, the Andino 13 pitch AB finished Bedard. He was gassed. He's out of condition from pitching so little for the last 3 weeks.

    The AB by Andino was the turning point in Bedard's outing. It fatigued him. He's lost his sharpness. He might not make it through the 4th.

    We've left too many on base, and this inning Bedard has thrown way too many pitches. It will be very hard for him to go deep in this game.

    Is it really that hard to find a cheap alternative to a guy who has pitched to a 5+ ERA who can't keep his team in games? His team's record in games that he started over the last 2 seasons has been 18-23. Would it really be that hard to replace such a guy?
