  1. I am not placing it on Verdugo. It gets placed squarely on Bloom. This isn’t Tampa where you can send out sandlot quality players while rebuilding. There are no fans due to COVID, but you can’t charge the highest ticket prices in MLB for this Pile of mound garbage.
  2. One was in response to a doctor’s post which is worthy of more weight than the other post. The Red Sox have not given any indication that there is any reason for concern. I appreciate your close attention to my posts, but surely your time can be spent more productively.
  3. With Betts, we might be able to bludgeon Wade LeBlanc. We would have a chance to win on a football score.
  4. And he is their #3. That means that they will be sending out 3 starters every 5 days that are not major league pitchers until ERod comes back. Couldn’t he get some affordable mediocre major league arms. Weber is a disgrace.
  5. We lost Betts. That’s a big hole that Verdugo with a healthy back can’t fill.
  6. And now for the parade of pigs from the pen.
  7. I told you —- he got clubbed like a baby seal.
  8. The Red Sox will need to bludgeon pitchers, because their pitchers will be getting bludgeoned 4 out of 5 games. And losing Betts takes a lot of potency out of the lineup.
  9. LOL! @ sheet metal! Maybe the Red Sox should give the fan a grand prize if his cutout gets decapitated or a hole from a home run ball.
  10. Sharwynyn or what ever his name is the worst one of the young guys that I have seen. Houck didn’t look bad. Mazza from the Mets is awful too. There is no reason to keep Weber in when we have lots of bodies in the pen. Weber doesn’t settle in and get better. He gets worse as games go along. Send him to the shower before they start clubbing him like a baby seal.
  11. Weber is a joke as a #3 starter. He is Independent League talent at best. Maybe Vasquez power last year was not an aberration.
  12. I heard that he hit 99 mph. Pretty amazing: [h=1]Bard wins in 1st MLB game since '13, Rockies beat Texas 3-2[/h]https://sports.yahoo.com/bard-wins-1st-mlb-game-since-13-rockies-000720201--mlb.html
  13. Is Ben still making the pitching moves?
  14. That's how Perez goes. One terrible inning and then settles down. He can never seem to eliminate that one bad inning.
  15. He's been sucking since the Mets got him. He was just awful last year. The Mets had a playoff caliber team last year, except the bullpen was a complete disaster.
  16. The 2 new pitching acquisitions look vomiticious.
  17. Ron Roenicke to rest Red Sox regulars early in season WWW.MLB.COM BOSTON -- Manager Ron Roenicke is the first to admit the urgency of each game during this unprecedented 60-game season, but he is not going to let that urgency allow him to push his players too hard in this opening stretch, in which Boston plays 10 straight days. The other Maybe someone should tell Ron that there is no late season, no dog days etc this year. It’s basically a tournament.
  18. You could get whiplash imitating Martin Perez. LOL
  19. We have a 15 man pen or something like that. Time to get Perez out of there. Nice signing, Bloom. Good too of the rotation guy.
  20. Way to make Cobb throw strikes, Mitch.
