  1. So much for the 1 run per inning hope. Mazzara is another piñata.
  2. If Mazza only gives up a run per inning, he may be a keeper.
  3. I expected bad, but this is a level of bad that I have never witnessed.
  4. The latest that I have heard about him is that he is projecting as a reliever.
  5. Mazza stinks. I liked the kid Mata, but he isn't on the 40 man roster.
  6. This team is putrid. Gag inducing. I am starved for baseball, but can't watch this garbage. I know that people think Bloom is safe and he came here with some kind of genius reputation, but I think he might be pulling a Kerrigan. Joe Kerrigan, the one-time genius pitching coach s*** the bed so badly when he replaced Joe Morgan that he had to be fired. He was managing a team that was out of the pennant race and it was just a September to play out the string, but the team lost every day under him. Seeing one month of him was enough. What we are seeing now will produce an empty ballpark in April 2021 after everyone has been vaccinated. It will be empty like 1964.
  7. Just embarrassing. You can be this bad and have a $40 million payroll.
  8. Only the Pirates are worse than the Red Sox who are playing at a blistering .300 clip. What an embarrassment!
  9. They miss Sale, Price, ERod, and Porcello. We are rolling out 4 garbage cans every 5 days. A team has no chance to be competitive by putting Batting Practice pitchers on the mound. John MGraw and Casey Stengel and Earl Weaver could be managing this team and the results would be the same.
  10. The 2 best pitchers that the Red Sox sent to the mound last night were position players. I can’t ever remember 2 position players pitching in the same game for the Red Sox. This is horrible and unwatchable.
  11. The 2012 team would thrash this bunch.
  12. I was just about to post this. Walden is definitely a pinata.
  13. Hart is a punching bag. I am undecided whether Valdez is a punching bag or a pig.
  14. I would do the deal in a heart beat, but I disagree that the Tigers would consider it.
  15. I liked Arauz's bat in Spring Training and I still like it.
  16. Hart is another punching bag. Other than Eovaldi and Workman, everyone else on the staff can be categorized as a punching bag, a pinata, or a pig.
  17. The games were less painful to follow last week when my electricity was out from the storm. I had no power from Tuesday until Saturday. Following sporadically on Gameday on my phone limited the pain. Plus, the rest of my day without power made the Red Sox pitching comparatively less upsetting.
  18. How do you manage to be 4 games behind the putrid Orioles one-third of the way through a 60 game schedule?
  19. I was so looking forward to baseball starting, but this staff that Bloom has rolled out is not major league caliber. It is a 2 man starting rotation followed by Independent League quality arms and a Pen full of pigs. It's painful to watch. I have seen some bad Boston pitching over the past 50 years, but this isn't major league quality at all. It is an embarrassment. You can all rationalize your excuses for Bloom. I can't.
  20. With ER out for the season, the Red Sox have a rotation of 1 Eovaldi0 and 1/2 (Perez).
  21. Barnes is in a steep decline.
  22. It bears repeating, Godley is God Awful.
  23. Godley is God Awful.
  24. Hockey playoffs start today.
