  1. Tomorrow is D'-Day for Aaron Cook. I don't see how they can let him walk. He would be a good long option for Bobby V if a starter gets into trouble. With Cook, Tazawa, Padilla and Atchinson in the Pen, hopefully the 7 run rule is a thing of the past. Each of those guys can go multiple innings.
  2. I would never trade an every day player and middle of the lineup hitter for a reliever. That is not sane.
  3. The Abreu move would be a no-brainer. Cherries get off your ass and sign this guy and DFA DMac.
  4. Troll prevention.
  5. He did throw very well in the first half of 2011, but he has looked like crap since then. His ERA right now is based on a very small sample size.
  6. Picking him up would cost nothing more than the waiver price... right? Seems like a great low cost option. If he doesn't work out, there is no financial commitment.
  7. Bobby Abreu was released by the Angels today. He could handle LF in Fenway, and he always hit in Fenway.
  8. I was on central time all week, so I'll count your entry as the last entry.
  9. The rules didn't exclude trolls? My bad.
  10. No false claim. If Dice K is ready, they should be happy to promote him. If he is not throwing well on the stop in Pawtuckett, not getting people out, they will keep him on the DL.
  11. I believe that it was his second TJ
  12. That's good news.
  13. If they aren't ready physically, why would the player force himself onto the roster. If they are fine and ready, why wouldn't the Sox bring them up. I am just saying that it is not automatic that they will be promoted after 30 days.
  14. If Pujols could play with it, Crawford can. If it doesn't interfere with his hitting, he should be playing.
  15. It's not easy, because there are probably not a lot of available options. The available options are probably not that great, but there probably are some options that would be an improvement. They are not going to get the perfect deal, but they still need to act now.
  16. Let's hope that it doesn't bit us in the ass. It probably will, and people will defend this learning disabled FO by saying that it is too late to make the move. The apologies for them after the fact baffle me.
  17. When the 30 day rehab is done, they can still place them back on the DL. They don't have to be activated.
  18. Cook should be up next week. They would be fools to let him walk.
  19. ^ Why isn't this an option to get him on the field now. The throw from LF is nothing. He could toss it back in a couple of times a game.
