  1. Without Wieters and Hardy, the O's did not put out a very good lineup. In fact, it was a pretty crappy lineup. The bottom 3 were hitting under .200 at the start of the game. Betemit sucks and Davis struck out 6 times in a game at Fenway earlier this year. This was not an impressive outing in any manner.
  2. He is not a starter. Today's Oriole lineup was their B lineup without Witers or Hardy. Yet, he still walked 4 and hit a batter. You don't get away with that against the A lineup
  3. You still can. I read that Enzyte really works.
  4. Drew Sutton has 2 RBI for tampa
  5. 4 walks, a hit batter, and 0 k's in 4 innings.
  6. I don't know if you could air it on prime time.
  7. Playing for 1 run with Bard on the mound?
  8. They need to bat Youk after Ortiz.
  9. Well if he has hurt himself, congrats to the Red Sox on ruining a perfectly fin reliever. They saw hoe=w the Yanks ruined Joba and Hughes, but somehow hey thought the conversion would work well for them.
  10. No strikeouts. How many swings and misses have there been?
  11. Bring in Achinson already. He'll cut right through this crappy lineup.
  12. Nick Johnson... what a joke!! I hope this his his last start. I have had enough of this guy. Tell Oswalt to put on a suit and get a plan to Fenway.
  13. Good thing he has speed or maybe it was a triple play. Aren't we all glad that Cherries traded for Pods when Abreu was free.
  14. No Hardy, no Wieters. It's their B lineup. He needs to put together a good game.
  15. This former flame thrower doesn't have a put away pitch to strike out Davis? Davis strikes out all the time.
  16. Hardy is not starting today for the O's. That's good news.
  17. And a Google Search no doubt reveals the truth. You don't listen to him, because you think it would make you stupid beyond comprehension, so you are in no position to have an opinion about him. It's not like baseball where there are stats to tell the story. Unless you listen to him, you opinion has no validity.
  18. Your are correct, which is why I avoided any mention of politics. It speaks to the success of Rush that the mere mention of his name is considered a political statement.
  19. The Orioles are no longer doormats. They are a fairly well-balanced team. Their weakness is a lack of starting pitching depth. They seem pretty solid everywhere else. I read today that Duquette is looking to shore up his starting pitching, and if they stay in the hunt through June, I think there is a good chance that he will acquire some starting help. All of the teams in the ALE have some holes and deficiencies. I don't see their problems as being any more severe than those of the other teams. As a young group like this stays in the hunt their confidence will increase. The next month will tell you what direction they will take. I don't think they are going away. They are no longer a soft opponent.
