    It's not so much that Soriano is getting praised. His performance speaks for itself. The kudos go to Cashman who got him from Theo for next to nothing and Teho is paying three quarters of his salary-- a very nice acquisition.

    I think he was looking to get a DP and took his eye off the ball momentarily. It was a young player mistake-- trying to do too much.

    They came up big everytime things looked like they were going bad and refused to go into a downward slide. They are a mentally tough bunch that has a strong will to win.

    I've put that in my review mirror. I wasn't debating the merits of getting Lopez. I don't even remember what other catchers were around at the time. I was just commenting on how he sucks. Everything isn't a debate about the FO. The guy sucked it hard. That's all I was saying.

    Yes, but Soriano is going to die to die out with 30+ bombs. Only Ortiz on the Sox has a chance to surpass that mark. Saying that a guy with 30+ bombs died out is a little silly.

    Soriano with 2 more HRs tonight for the Yankees. Nice pick up by the MFYs. Reynolds went deep and ARod too. All of a sudden they are hitting a lot of HRs. Pieces of garbage didn't help us much against the Rays.
